The role combines hands‑on technical contribution with team leadership, workflow coordination, problem solving and support for continuous improvement across the workshop.

Coordinate daily workshop priorities, allocate resources and provide leadership to a team of approximately 7 technicians.

Support technician training, skill development and day‑to‑day performance coaching.

Monitor productivity, quality, workflow and delivery performance to ensure production schedules, customer commitments and quality standards are achieved.

Perform hands‑on clutch and transmission assembly, remanufacturing, testing and related production tasks.

Coordinate material, component and tooling requirements to minimise production delays.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality and efficiency.

Provide hands‑on technical support and troubleshooting for clutch and transmission assembly issues.

Act as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day workshop issues, escalating matters to management as required.

Maintain safety, quality, tooling, equipment and workshop housekeeping standards.

Ensure work instructions, quality procedures and workshop documentation are followed and maintained.

Attend customer sites as required to support failure investigation, troubleshooting and repairs.

Mechanical trade background or equivalent hands‑on experience.

Strong mechanical fault‑finding, assembly and problem‑solving skills.

Experience leading, mentoring or training workshop technicians or production operators.

Ability to plan work, prioritise tasks and coordinate multiple jobs simultaneously.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across production, sales and management teams.

Strong focus on safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Follows and adheres to the Code of Conduct & Ethics and standards, leading by example in all workplace interactions.

Results‑driven, highly productive and able to meet targets while working independently and without close supervision.

Demonstrable success as a high achiever with a track record of consistently delivering outcomes and achieving results above and beyond.

Flexible and willing to work hours required to meet customer requirements and business needs.
