About the role

We’re looking for Chefs and Cooks at various levels of experience, from passionate Cooks looking to grow their skills through to experienced Chefs with a solid background in Asian cuisine.

You’ll be part of our culinary team, working across New Town Thai and CHU Restaurant by China Doll , helping deliver high-quality dining experiences to our guests.

New Town Thai celebrates the bold flavours, aromas and colours of Thai cuisine in a stylish yet relaxed setting, with a focus on authentic flavours and quality ingredients.

CHU Restaurant by China Doll delivers a refined Pan-Asian dining experience, bringing together Chinese, Japanese,



Hong Kong and Southeast Asian flavours with modern culinary techniques.

As part of our kitchen team, you’ll prepare and deliver dishes to a consistently high standard while working in a busy, professional kitchen environment.

Our Perfect Fit

You’re passionate about great food, confident in a busy kitchen and have experience working with Thai and/or Asian cuisine. You take pride in your craft, work well as part of a team and thrive during a busy service.

- Proven experience in Thai and/or Asian cuisine
- Wok experience and knowledge of traditional Asian cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Passion for quality food and presentation
- Great teamwork and communication skills
- Availability across 7 days, including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Full Australian working rights
- Knowledge of food safety standards
