Join an established Australian manufacturing business operating a large 24/7 production facility in Moorabbin. With a dedicated on-site maintenance team supporting a busy manufacturing environment, this is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter looking for a stable Monday–Friday day shift with diverse maintenance, project and improvement work.

Shift Structure & Pay

- $52.00 per hour + super
- Monday to Friday – 8:00am–4:00pm
- Occasional 10:00am–6:00pm shift when operationally required
- Overtime may occasionally be available but is not a regular requirement

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving production machinery and equipment within a busy 24/7 manufacturing environment.





Your responsibilities will include:

- Mechanical fault finding and breakdown response across production machinery
- Preventative and planned maintenance
- Installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
- MIG welding and fabrication
- Maintenance and fault finding on pneumatic systems

Requirements

- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter – Certificate III or equivalent
- Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing or FMCG
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- MIG welding experience
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Experience with chillers, compressors or other site utilities highly regarded
- Full Australian working rights
