The Oolong Aboriginal Corporation – Nowra NSW
The Oolong Aboriginal Corporation as known as Oolong House was established in 1989 and operates a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre on the South Coast of NSW
Our program is designed for Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal men aged 18 and over, we offer a 16- week alcohol and other drug therapeutic program.
Through our treatment programs, Oolong House enables people to integrate back into society reconnecting with their families and community. We provide a secure place for individuals to stay while they are recovering, in an setting that is culturally appropriate and supportive of efforts at rehabilitation
We provide client cantered, holistic programs, focusing on all aspects of an individual’s social and emotional wellbeing, as part of our program, we explore the positive impact that harm minimisation has on a person, their family and community. We will provide a variety of life skills, financial,
all the while supporting clients and providing them with the tools needed to overcome their alcohol or drug misuse.

Key responsibilities
- Maintaining client confidentiality
- Greeting Guest
- Keep records of Cheque Requisitions
- Setting Appointments
- Relaying messages
- Managing communications
- Filing Admin and client documentation
- Ability to comply with all WH&S; policies and Procedures of the organisation
- Business invoicing
- Client invoicing
- Archiving
- Maintain records of client data base

Skills and experience
- Previous experience working in a Drug and Alcohol & Mental Health environment or similar admin role
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dead lines as required
