The Role

The Senior Volunteer Coordinator – Victoria is responsible for the supporting the oversight and performance of the volunteer visiting programs across Victoria, ensuring alignment to MiCare’s strategic objectives, values, and compliance obligations.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

- Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Human Services, Management or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.

Experience

- Demonstrated experience in leading volunteer programs or community engagement services
- Proven experience in people leadership and team management
- Strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance frameworks
- Experience working within aged care, community services or not-for-profit sectors
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities.

- Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally sensitive manner within an ethno-specific environment
