We're seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to lead their people strategy and help shape the future of their workforce.
This is more than a traditional HR role. You'll be a trusted advisor to leaders, coach managers, drive organisational capability and lead initiatives that strengthen culture, compliance and employee experience across the organisation.

About the role
This is a newly created role, reporting to the Corporate Services Manager and leading the Human Resources Officer. You will partner with leaders across the organisation to deliver contemporary HR solutions that strengthen capability, reduce organisational risk and support a positive workplace culture.
You’ll take ownership of both strategic and operational HR while helping build leadership capability across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert HR and employee relations advice
- Leading complex performance,
misconduct, grievance and investigation matters
- Coaching and developing leaders to confidently manage people
- Driving workforce planning and organisational development initiatives
- Leading HR policy development and governance
- Supporting Enterprise Agreement negotiations and industrial relations matters
- Leading performance review and remuneration review processes
- Developing initiatives that improve engagement, wellbeing and organisational culture
- Mentoring and developing the Human Resources Officer
About you
You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders and influencing positive organisational outcomes.
You’ll bring...
- Significant experience in a senior HR Business Partner, Employee Relations or Senior Generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation
- Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations and workplace investigations
- Experience coaching leaders and building management capability
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational priorities
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
- Experience within healthcare, not-for-profit or Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations will be highly regarded.
