They are currently looking for an senior level technology lawyer, most likely with 4 years' PAE, to join their excellent team in Sydney.

The T&D; practice group provide a full legal services complement to clients across information technology and intellectual property including private and publicly listed companies, and government entities. The organisations they service are dotted across Australia and around the world.

The practice in Sydney and nationally consists of a number of well-regarded senior practitioners, who are regularly acknowledged as leaders in their field by independent legal directories.

Position Description





This role will see you focus on a range of complex and challenging work across information technology, in addition to IP and general commercial transactions and advice including:

- Preparing and negotiating outsourcing, managed services, procurement of technology solutions, cloud and as-a-service arrangements, and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.
- Assist with contract tendering, procurement, and negotiation processes, and provide counsel on Australian Consumer Law matters.
- Mentor and coach lawyers to support their professional development, including assisting graduates during their rotations.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships and actively develop your business development skills.

Requirements

You will be a senior lawyer with 4+ years' proven commercial law experience, with a focus on information technology related transactions.

In addition, you will have:

- a developing qualified profile and an ability to develop an internal network beyond the practice group
- a proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks .
