This role plays a critical part in expanding our advertising asset portfolio through site acquisition, feasibility assessment, development approvals and stakeholder management . You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to take new billboard sites from initial chance through to approval and delivery .

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

Site Identification & Acquisition

- Identify and secure new billboard and large format advertising sites
- Build relationships with landlords, developers, agents and property owners
- Negotiate lease agreements and commercial terms
- Secure long-term tenure aligned with network growth strategy

Feasibility & Commercial Assessment

- Assess site suitability including visibility, traffic volumes, zoning and planning
- Conduct due diligence and site inspections
- Develop ROI and financial feasibility models
- Present business cases for development approval

Planning & Development Approvals

- Prepare and manage Development Applications (DA)
- Coordinate consultants including planners, traffic engineers and structural engineers
- Manage council engagement, RFIs and planning approvals

Project Delivery

- Work with construction, operations, legal, finance and sales teams to deliver approved sites
- Maintain strong relationships with councils and regulatory authorities

About You

- 3–7+ years’ experience in property development, outdoor media, commercial real estate or commercial sales
- Experience negotiating commercial leases and landowner agreements
- Strong understanding of planning frameworks and development approval processes
- Ability to build financial feasibility and ROI models
- Highly organised with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Commercially driven with a strong ownership mindset
