We are working with a leading Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Business Technology Platform Owner. In this role you will be responsible for the strategic governance, operational management, and continual improvement of enterprise technology platforms.

The role ensures platforms deliver business value, remain secure and compliant, and support organisational objectives through effective stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end lifecycle management of assigned business technology platforms, including strategy, governance, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain platform roadmaps aligned to organisational priorities, business capability requirements, and digital transformation objectives.
- Act as the primary business representative and subject matter expert for the platform, providing strategic advice to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage platform performance,



availability, service levels, and user adoption to ensure business outcomes are achieved.
- Lead the identification, assessment, prioritisation, and implementation of platform enhancements and new capabilities.
- Collaborate with business units, architecture, security, data, and technology teams to ensure platform solutions meet operational and strategic requirements.

What we’re looking for?

- Hands‑on experience governing platforms such as SAP BTP, SAP ESM, Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, or Oracle Cloud.
- Proven ability in technology governance, roadmap design, and alignment.
- Robust skills in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- A solid understanding of risk management, compliance frameworks, and cybersecurity awareness.
- Experience driving organisational adoption and managing change effectively.
