St Mary’s College, a Catholic co-educational residential college affiliated to The University of Melbourne, seeks to appoint as Dean & Deputy Principal a person with a passion for the holistic development of young people and a record of effective leadership in an educational context. The college is a ‘home-away-from-home’ for 160 (mostly undergraduate) students – the majority of whom are from regional and rural Victoria along with several interstate, international and exchange students.

Reporting directly to the Principal, the appointee will be a key member of the college’s leadership with particular responsibility for the pastoral and academic wellbeing of the college’s residents. The appointee will live onsite in the provided apartment.



The Dean & Deputy Principal will also deputise for the Principal when required.
