Solmech is currently seeking experienced Electricians to join our team on renewable energy projects across New South Wales. This role involves carrying out electrical installation works on utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
We're looking for electricians who have hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector and understand the fast-paced nature of large-scale construction projects. You'll work closely with supervisors and fellow tradespeople to deliver quality outcomes while maintaining Solmech's solid safety culture.
To Be Successful You Will Have
Essential
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Previous experience working on utility-scale renewable energy projects (Solar and/or BESS)
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and electrical standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team and meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
Desirable
- CPR/LVR
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience with cable installation, terminations, testing and commissioning
- Experience interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
