We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant or Executive to join our HR team in Mulgrave, VIC!

This is a permanent full-time position.

What you'll be doing

Human Resources Management

- Efficiently complete daily HR functions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Aid in the end-to-end recruitment process, including talent selection, induction, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Update and formulate current job descriptions to align with evolving organisational needs.
- Assist overseeing processes and workflows for HRIS systems and implement changes as necessary.
- Assist in the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S;) measures.
- Administer Workcover claims and contribute to the development of return-to-work plans.
- Contribute to the quarterly newsletter through content creation.
- Participate in the planning of company events.




- Conduct research to develop, update, and review policies.
- Ensure compliance with current legislation.

Payroll

- Willingness to learn and process Payroll function if and when required based on business needs.

What we're looking for

- Full Australian working rights and MUST live in Australia
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field is highly regarded
- Demonstrated previous experience in HRM/Payroll related roles is desirable
- Experience using HRIS platforms is desirable but not essential, especially Employment Hero and ADP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of HR practices and compliance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic and diverse work workplace
