Arrow Transport is a growing national transport and logistics business, with operations across VIC, NSW, QLD, WA and SA. Our people are the driving force behind everything we do, and we are looking for a skilled Container Surveyor & Repairer to join our team at our Port of Brisbane depot.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for inspecting, surveying and repairing shipping containers to industry standards, ensuring our container fleet is safe, compliant and ready for use. You will play a key part in maintaining the quality and integrity of our container operations at one of our busiest sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and survey shipping containers to identify damage, wear and repair requirements
- Carry out structural and cosmetic repairs to containers, including welding and panel work
- Assess containers against industry standards (IICL and CW guidelines) and document findings
- Complete estimates and reports on container condition and repair works
- Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality and compliance requirements
- Work safely in line with our HSE policies and site requirements




- Liaise with the yard and operations team to prioritise and complete works efficiently

About You

- Previous experience in container surveying and/or repair
- Container survey certification highly regarded
- Welding experience and relevant tickets
- Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of container standards
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Forklift licence and MSIC card advantageous, or the ability to obtain one
