AV/VC Installers – FIFO WA (Barrow Island Site Migration) 14-day onsite assignment from 2 November to 16 November FIFO roster with all flights, meals, and accommodation provided Hands-on installation of Ruckus Wi-Fi Access Points and IPTV Set-Top Boxes About the Role Green Light Worldwide is seeking experienced AV/VC Installers to support the Butler Park (BWI) Site Migration project in remote Western Australia.
This project involves the deployment of Ruckus wireless infrastructure and IPTV entertainment services across accommodation rooms and building blocks.
Installers will work as part of a structured rollout team, completing installation, configuration, testing, and remediation activities while maintaining accurate project documentation throughout the migration.
The assignment is scheduled for 2 November through 16 November (14 days onsite) and will operate in a FIFO remote-site environment with all travel, meals, and accommodation provided.
Responsibilities Installing Ruckus Wi-Fi Access Points (APs) across accommodation rooms and blocks Installing IPTV Set-Top Boxes (STBs) and associated connectivity equipment Following the project run sheet and documenting installation progress accurately Connecting, configuring, and testing installed equipment to confirm successful operation Verifying Wi-Fi and IPTV service functionality after installation Recording installation details, test results, and completion status for each room or block Removing legacy hardware, packaging materials, and installation debris from work areas Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times Collaborating with the supervising deployment team and following all onsite safety procedures Requirements Proven experience in AV, IPTV, Wi-Fi, structured cabling,
or IT deployment projects Experience installing wireless access points, IPTV STBs, or similar room-based technology equipment Ability to follow detailed deployment run sheets and installation procedures Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a FIFO and remote-site environment White Card and current manual driver's licence preferred Solid attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation Safety-conscious with the ability to follow site procedures and deployment standards Reliable, adaptable, and capable of completing repetitive room-by-room installation activities to a high standard Diversity Inclusion At Green Light Worldwide, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
