As a Disability Support Worker , working within Learning Day Program, you'll provide person-centred support that empowers people with disability to build independence, confidence and connection. You'll be part of a supportive team that genuinely cares about the people we support - and about each other.
What we're looking for
- A caring, patient and respectful approach
- Robust communication and relationship-building skills
- Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude
- Availability to work a range of casual shifts at the learning and lifestyle program
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous but not required
You will be required to hold or willing to obtain
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- National Criminal History Check (Police Check)
