Role Description The IT Director at Estivantage is a part-time, hybrid role based in Melbourne, VIC, with the flexibility to work both in office and from home. This role leads the overall IT function, ensuring that infrastructure, systems, and applications support secure, efficient construction estimation operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing IT operations, maintaining network and system security, managing vendors and technology partners, and aligning IT strategy with business goals.

The IT Director will evaluate and implement new technologies, manage budgets and IT policies, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Collaboration with leadership and operational teams to support data integrity, process automation, and continuous improvement in technology use is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in IT Management and leading Information Technology teams in a small-to-medium business environment.





Proficiency in IT Operations, including infrastructure administration, cloud services, and application support.

Strong expertise in Network Security, including firewalls, access control, data protection, and cybersecurity best practices.

Ability to define and execute IT Strategy that aligns technology roadmaps with business priorities and growth plans.

Experience with construction, engineering, or professional services environments is highly beneficial.

Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Solid vendor management, budgeting, and contract negotiation skills.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative, inclusive working style.
