Our kitchen is busy from open to close, serving fresh salads, bowls, burritos and other made-to-order meals. We're looking for someone who can keep up with the pace while maintaining excellent food quality and safety standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
Preparing fresh ingredients, including vegetables, proteins and house-made components
Assembling salads, bowls and burritos to recipe specifications
Maintaining high food presentation and portion control standards
Following food safety and protected food handling procedures
Stocking and rotating ingredients using FIFO principles
Keeping workstations clean, organised and service-ready
Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment
Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries
Supporting the team during busy lunch and dinner services
Completing opening, closing and general kitchen duties
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual and well-presented
Ability to work well within a close-knit team
Excellent attention to detail and consistency
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends as required
