About Kesser Torah College

Kesser Torah College (KTC) is a thriving Chabad Orthodox Jewish Day School situated in Dover Heights in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Catering to over 600 boys and girls from Early Learning through to Year 12, KTC provides an integrated education that balances a rigorous academic curriculum with comprehensive Jewish studies. The Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our collegial team at the Early Learning Centre (ELC). In this role, you will be the administrative backbone of the centre, providing high-quality support to educators, children and their families. This position manages all operational, administrative and day-to-day financial aspects of the service to ensure the smooth running of the ELC.

This is a permanent full-time position, commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

KTC's Early Learning Centre operates as a well-regulated, high-quality service under the Education and Care Services National Law and National Quality Standard. The College places strong emphasis on compliance, thorough documentation, and best-practice policies and procedures, ensuring a safe, consistent, and high-quality environment for children, families and staff.

- Compliance: Comply with the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations, National Quality Standard and all KTC policies.

- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding staff, children, and families.

- Administration:



Maintain well-organised records and filing systems, ensuring documentation is accurate, up to date, and easy to retrieve; provide efficient administrative and reception support.

- Enrolments & Attendance: Manage end-to-end, compliant enrolments, and maintain accurate attendance records through well-organised systems, including Storypark and class list updates.

- Staffing & Rostering: Develop weekly rosters, source leave cover, and maintain staff compliance records and payroll signatures.

- Operational Support: Manage supplier ordering, First Aid and allergy management, STEPS screenings, policy/handbook updates, and accident reporting.

- Marketing & Communications: Support Open Day planning/ events and manage enrolment and permission forms.

- Professional Conduct & Learning: Uphold the ECA Code of Ethics, engage in professional learning, and build positive family relationships.

- Workplace Health and Safety (WHS): Maintain a safe environment, follow emergency procedures and report hazards promptly to uphold duty of care.

About You

You will demonstrate:

- Strong Administrative and Organisational Skills – Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced administrative role, with excellent time management, attention to detail,



and the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing demands.

- Communication and Relationship Building – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong customer service focus, and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with staff, children and families.

- Professionalism and Initiative – Reliable, self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently with sound judgement, discretion, and proficiency in workplace technology and administrative systems.

- Commitment to the College's Values – A willingness to support the Jewish ethos of the College, engage in ongoing career development and consistently uphold the Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct.

Desirables:

- ACECQA approved Certificate III level qualification

- Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management Training

- First Aid Certificate
