Homestead Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cook to join our team, working on-site at a boutique residential community we service on the Northern Gold Coast.

Our menus and recipes are already developed and in place, along with established systems and procedures — so you can focus on consistent, high-quality cooking and service from day one.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with our established menus and standardised recipes
Cater to dietary requirements and resident preferences within the menu framework
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety
Work collaboratively with the on-site support team to meet residents' nutritional needs
Ensure meals are prepared and served in accordance with relevant food safety requirements and industry standards
Manage stock, ordering and portion control in line with our recipes and procedures
Contribute to a positive and enjoyable dining experience for residents
About You
Relevant commercial cookery qualification (e.g.
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery) or equivalent practical experience
Previous experience in a residential, healthcare or similar institutional catering environment is preferred
Understanding of special dietary requirements, including texture-modified diets, is preferred
Comfortable working to set menus and standardised recipes, with consistency of output
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, organised and able to work effectively in a team environment
Passionate about creating a positive dining experience for residents
Essential Requirements
A satisfactory National Police Certificate issued within the past 3 months — this is mandatory and must be provided before commencement
