Ozcare has a part-time position available for an Activities Officer supporting our clients at our beautiful Villa Rosalie - Newstead Aged Care Facility.

Your Role

As an Activities Officer you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:
Assist in the implementation of programs that meet the spiritual, physical, social and psychological needs of all residents
Implementation of programs that meet group needs whilst satisfying the individual needs of each resident
Report any changes in resident behaviours to your immediate Supervisor
Document daily levels of participation in activities
Assist in the introduction of current residents to the Facility in a manner that will make them feel comfortable in their participation and ensure that their needs, such as medical and dietary, are met

Role Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care desirable
Previous aged care experience is desirable
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
Current Police Screening Certificate
Be vaccinated against Influenza & have at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
Valuable computer and mobile device skills
