Chef – Cobram Hotel

Cobram Hotel is looking for a motivated and experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen team in Cobram, Victoria.

We are seeking a chef who is passionate about preparing quality food, takes pride in their work and can perform well in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

About the role

As a Chef at Cobram Hotel, you will be responsible for:
Preparing, cooking and presenting meals to a high standard
Working across a varied pub-style menu, including daily specials
Ensuring food quality, consistency and portion control
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen preparation
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
Contributing to menu ideas and seasonal specials
Supporting other kitchen staff as required

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
Relevant qualifications, such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent experience




Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety requirements
The ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A reliable, positive and professional attitude
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
