We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Baker/Pastry Cook to join our dynamic team at Sg bakery in Buderim, QLD 4556. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to contribute to the success of our thriving bakery.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and baking a wide variety of high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all baked products
Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Assisting with inventory management and ordering of ingredients
Collaborating with the team to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement
Providing exceptional customer service and responding to customer inquiries
What we're looking for
Formal qualification in baking or patisserie, such as a Certificate III in Baking or equivalent
Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified bakery or pastry cook in a commercial setting
Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
punctual and reliable, willing to work a 7-day roster, early morning, night shift. Weekend and public holiday is a must
