Service

§ Continuously monitor the operations of the day to day running of the restaurant and monitor for and implement improvements via the Venue Manager.

§ Coordinate the smooth operations of the Restaurant and Bar includes ordering stock and any needed equipment.

§ Manage restaurant capacity and bookings

§ Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in areas of your responsibility and ensure menus / wine lists are highly presentable

§ Be aware of the continuous changes and trends within the food and beverage industry.

§ Prepare a monthly stock take

§ Ensure POS is accurate/ up to date and matches menu in offering and pricing

Customers

§ Ensure the Restaurant & Bar operates smoothly and professionally, providing customers with an all-encompassing high-end dining experience

§ Meet and greet customers in a hosting capacity

§ Maintain professional and effective customer service; you are representing the Yarri brand

§ Seek customer feedback at all opportunities, review and implement where appropriate

§ Respond to customer requests in a professional and timely manner, via phone, email or face to face





§ As the senior person on shift resolve any customer or staff issues or notify manager so they can follow up.

§ Build a robust work ethic in staff whilst maintaining a fun, welcoming, caring flexible workforce where staff feel valued.

§ Participate in staff development to build continuous improvement across the team

§ Ensure the Restaurant Attendants and Bar Attendants are trained to run their own section

§ Responsible for self-development and continuous learning.

Financial

§ Identify areas of revenue opportunity and cost minimisation

§ Settle tills at the end of a day and prepare daily takings report

§ Banking / change money for tills

Organisational

§ Adhere to policy and procedures and legislative requirements

§ Coordinate events as required

§ Represent at promotional events.

§ In absence of Venue Manager prepare rosters

Other duties as directed in the scope of this position.
