We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Greek-speaking Support Worker to join our growing team. The ability to speak Greek is essential for this role, as you will be supporting Greek-speaking clients and helping them communicate comfortably while maintaining their cultural preferences.
About the Role
As a Disability & Aged Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, personalised support to clients in their homes and community. You will assist with daily living activities while promoting independence, choice and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
Assist with household tasks and meal preparation
Support clients with shopping and community participation
Transport and accompany clients to appointments
Help clients develop life skills, confidence and independence
Support clients to build recent hobbies and interests
Work collaboratively with families and allied health professionals
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Communicate effectively with clients, including providing support in Greek where required
Essential Requirements
Fluent in both Greek and English
Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) or equivalent
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
National Police Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Current Australian Driver Licence
Reliable vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance
Australian Citizenship, Australian Birth Certificate, or valid Australian work rights
