Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team. Working in a quick-paced kitchen environment serving our TurBARlence Tavern, room service and conference spaces. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality food experience,



maintaining exceptional food standards and supporting the wider kitchen team.

Duties Include (but Not Limited To)
Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
Prepare and ensure availability of mis en place as required
Follow all hotel and kitchen policies, procedures and standards
Provide accurate menu and allergen information to the Food and Beverage team when required
Keeps all working areas clean and tidy
Be familiar with other areas in the Kitchen so when called upon, assistance can be provided

Qualifications
Previous chef experience
Relevant cookery or trade qualifications
Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen
Robust knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP
Positive, flexible and able to work well under pressure
Strong attention to detail and consistent food quality
Available across early mornings, weekends and public holidays
Full working rights in Australia
