Following significant growth over the past 12 months, this progressive Chartered Accounting firm is looking to appoint an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join its Business Services & Tax team.
Working closely with Partners and experienced Managers, you'll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, family groups and SMEs with turnovers up to $20 million, while developing your technical expertise across complex accounting, taxation and advisory matters.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types
Calculate and advise on Capital Gains Tax and Fringe Advantages Tax
Assess Div7A implications and prepare loan repayment calculations
Assist Partners with tax planning, research and business advisory projects
Liaise directly with the ATO and ASIC on behalf of clients
Build and maintain strong client relationships while mentoring junior team members
About you
CA or CPA qualified (or currently studying)
Approximately 5+ years' experience within Australian public practice
Robust technical knowledge across Business Services & Tax
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ambitious and looking to progress into a leadership or management role
