We are seeking a highly experienced Pipelayer to join a busy civil construction team delivering subdivision, drainage, and utility infrastructure projects across Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley. Working alongside operators and supervisors, you will play a key role in installing underground services safely, accurately, and to exact specifications.
Minimum Experience
You must have at least 5 years of proven, hands-on experience specifically as a pipelayer within civil construction.

Key Responsibilities
Install stormwater pipelines to accurate line, level, and project specifications.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot pipe lasers for accurate grade/alignment.
Work safely around trenches and heavy machinery (excavators, skid steers).
Install pits, manholes, bedding, backfill, and associated civil infrastructure.
Read construction drawings, check levels, and complete basic QA paperwork.
Comply with SWMS & site safety procedure.s
About You
5+ years of verified civil pipelaying experience.
Expert knowledge of stormwater, sewer, and water main installation.
Confident setting up pipe lasers and directing excavation/lifting.
Current White Card and valid Driver’s Licence (HR Truck licence is a plus).
Desirable Tickets: Confined Space, Excavator/Loader/Skid Steer, Spotter, First Aid.
