Light Or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Monday - Friday: 6:30am - 4:00pm
Saturday: 6:30am - 3:30pm (Occasional)
45-55hr weeks

Light Or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
$50 - $55 base rate + penalties (after 7.6hrs)
Monday - Friday: 6:30am - 4:00pm
Saturday: 6:30am - 3:30pm (Occasional)
45-55hr weeks





About the Role
Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs
Performing routine servicing including hydraulics inspections, oil changes, brake inspections, and operational testing
Inspecting heavy vehicles for structural issues and determining required repairs
Repairing or replacing faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
Working with hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment
Completing testing to ensure machinery and systems are functioning correctly
Maintaining records of inspections, work completed, and parts used
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures

What We Are Looking For
Trade qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Experience working on heavy vehicles, trailers, or transport equipment
Solid fault finding and diagnostic skills
Knowledge of hydraulics, braking systems, and vehicle electrical systems
Forklift (LF) licence - advantageous
Rigging or dogging tickets - advantageous
