Burwood Specialists is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive, and growing specialist practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical receptionist who enjoys working in a busy specialist environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing specialist appointment bookings and patient enquiries.
Welcoming patients and providing a professional and caring experience.
Maintaining accurate patient records, including scanning and filing documentation.
Confidently processing private, Medicare bulk billed, and DVA billing.
Supporting specialists and the clinical team with the day to day running of the practice.
Working efficiently in a rapid paced workplace while managing multiple priorities.
About you:
Previous experience in specialist medical rooms is essential.
Confidence in managing specialist appointments and patient administration.
Strong knowledge of private, Medicare bulk billed.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
A positive, reliable, and skilled attitude.
