Position

Due to continued growth and strong market demand, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Hire Controller to join the team at Seven Hills.

This is a quick-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys being at the centre of daily operations. You will play a key role in coordinating equipment hire, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the branch.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
Rotating Saturdays (penalty rates apply: time and a half and double time)

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage equipment hire bookings, allocations, and returns
Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical support
Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and recommend suitable solutions
Maintain accurate hire records, contracts, and documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Support general branch operations and assist the wider team as required





This role requires someone who is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Competitive salary package ($70,000 - $75,000) + super

Candidate Profile

To be considered, you will have experience as a Hire Controller, Service Coordinator, or in a similar role within the construction or equipment hire industry.

You will be:
Experienced in scheduling/planning/maintanence
Highly organised with robust attention to detail
A proactive problem-solver who can think on your feet
In possession of a valid driver's licence
Holding full Australian working rights
