Walkers Hammers is seeking a motivated and mechanically minded individual to join our workshop team as a Service Technician Trainee.

This is an excellent prospect for someone looking to develop specialist skills in servicing and repairing hydraulic rockbreakers and other excavator and skid steer attachments. Full on-the-job training will be provided by our experienced technicians, giving you the chance to build a rewarding long-term career in the heavy equipment industry.

Based in our fully equipped Laverton North workshop, you'll learn how to service, diagnose, repair and rebuild hydraulic rockbreakers and other specialised excavator and skid steer attachments used across mining, quarrying, demolition, construction and recycling industries.

What you'll learn

Previous experience with hydraulic attachments is not required - we're looking for attitude, willingness to learn and mechanical aptitude.
