We are now seeking professional, detail-driven Allocators to join our Operations team. This role is central to our day-to-day performance; coordinating contractors, managing job bookings, and keeping operations moving across multiple projects.
About the Role
The Allocator is responsible for managing incoming job bookings from customers and project teams, allocating the right contractors and equipment, and maintaining accurate data within our OMS system.
This role requires someone who is organised, calm under pressure, and able to make clear decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a high volume of inbound calls professionally and efficiently
Enter and manage job bookings in OMS (Operations Management System) with accuracy
Communicate clearly with customers, sales staff and project teams
Allocate compliant contractors and equipment to scheduled jobs
Build strong working relationships with contractors and support ongoing recruitment
Set up recent COD accounts, verify details and process pre‑authorisations
Maintain accurate job notes and documentation
Identify unsupplied jobs and proactively work towards solutions
Support Lantrak's Transport Manager with contractor performance monitoring

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident using systems and learning current processes
Able to prioritise, problem‑solve and stay ahead of operational needs
