About the Role

We currently have an chance for a multi-skilled and experienced Hire Controllerto join the Operations team at our Canberra depot.

Reporting to the Canberra Branch Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Answering and attending to incoming calls from internal and external customers
Creating and data entering of hire contracts
Process customer orders, hire contracts and delivery/collection notes
Customer invoicing
Various administrative functions
Liaising with the workshop team to ensure equipment is ready prior to hire
Arranging transport and logistics movements
Maintain service records
Filing of contracts and other operations documentation
Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
Any other appropriate duties as directed





Skills and Experience

You must be highly motivated, well organised and be a positive thinker.
Previous experience in or knowledge of the Hire Industry, Transport or in a similar operations role
High attention to detail
Be able to prioritise and have valuable time-management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
Reliable and punctual.
Possess aCan-Do attitude
