Key Responsibilities
As part of our workshop and field team, you will:
Perform scheduled maintenance and major repairs on heavy freight vehicles, trailers and equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical and diesel engine faults accurately and efficiently
Conduct inspections, servicing and safety checks
Maintain accurate service records and communicate work progress
Assist with breakdowns and field call-outs when required
Ensure compliance with OH&S; and transport maintenance standards
What We’re Looking For
Trade-qualified Diesel / Heavy Mechanical Technician
Proven experience with heavy vehicles, trucks and trailers
Robust fault-finding & diagnostic skills
Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
Own tools and relevant licences (HR licence advantageous)
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
