Techforce Personnelare currently seeking experienced Electricians with HV Termination and Substation experience to join a major 330/33kV substation construction project in Recent South Wales, commencing late August to early September.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale transmission infrastructure project supporting Australia's growing energy sector.
About the Role
Working as part of the construction team, your responsibilities will include:
Installation of primary and secondary electrical equipment
High Voltage cable installation and terminations
Earthing system installation
Protection and control system installation
Equipment fit-out and assembly
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
Testing and commissioning support
Maintaining high safety and quality standards on site
Skills & Experience To be successful, you will ideally have:
Current Electrical Licence
Proven experience performing HV cable terminations
Previous substation construction experienceExperience working on transmission substations (132kV-330kV)
Exposure to utility-scale renewable energy projects
Experience with primary and secondary systems
Strong understanding of protection and control systems
Ability to work effectively within a project team workplace
Tickets & Qualifications Applicants must hold:
Unrestricted Electrical Licence
Construction White Card
EWP Licence (highly regarded)
Working at Heights
First Aid Certificate (desirable)
Current Driver's Licence
HV Authorisations and competencies highly regarded
