Position
Due to ongoing growth, a Structured Cabling Technician role has become available within the Sydney team. This position will see you working across commercial projects, completing cable installations, fit-offs and commissioning of structured cabling and communication systems.

Responsibilities
Roughing in data, fibre and security cabling across commercial sites.
Installing and fitting off data outlets, patch panels, racks and cable management systems.
Terminating and testing Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and fibre optic cabling.
Installing cable tray, basket and containment systems.
Fault finding and rectification of cabling issues.




Reading plans and ensuring all installations meet Australian standards.

Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience within structured cabling, telecommunications or electronic security environments. A background with commercial installations, data cabling and security systems will be highly regarded. Candidates with ACMA cabling registration and security licences will be strongly preferred.
Experience in structured cabling installations and commercial fit-outs.
ACMA Open or Restricted Cabling Registration (preferred).
Experience with Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and fibre optic cabling.
Security Licence or experience with CCTV/access control systems (highly regarded).
Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
White Card and current Driver's Licence.
