Electrician - Utility Scale Solar Farm

$120-130k + super (contract considered at $65ph)

38 hour week

10% performance bonus

The Chance

We're partnering with a leading renewable energy business to recruit an experienced Electrician for a utility-scale solar farm in Wellington, NSW.

This is an excellent chance to join a growing industry, working on critical renewable energy infrastructure where you'll play a key role in maintaining plant performance, reliability and safety.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the solar farm, carrying out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure maximum site performance.

Key responsibilities include:
Electrical fault finding, inspections and preventative maintenance
Testing and maintenance of PV systems and associated equipment
Monitoring plant performance and responding to site alarms




Supporting SCADA monitoring and performance reporting
MV/HV switching operations (where authorised)

About You
Current Grade A Electrical Licence
Certificate III in Electrotechnology
Experience in industrial, utilities or renewable energy maintenance

Desirable:
MV/HV switching experience or qualifications
Experience on utility-scale solar, wind or BESS projects
