The Role
Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly tax and statutory returns (BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax)
Coordinating with external tax and accounting advisers for year‑end and international reporting
Managing state and federal lodgements including TPAR, ABS, and Workers Compensation
Maintaining financial guarantee documentation and supporting renewals
Providing insights to support tax planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting the finance team with ad‑hoc reporting and analysis
Qualifications
Degree qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing)
3–5 years’ experience in a similar accounting or tax role
Strong understanding of Australian compliance and reporting requirements
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to manage competing priorities in a quick‑paced setting
