Our client is a well-established commercial laundry service provider based in Launceston, delivering high-quality linen and laundry solutions to a broad range of customers across Northern Tasmania. Due to ongoing operational requirements, they are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Truck Driver to join their team on a casual basis.
Your new role
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled multi-drop deliveries and collections across the region. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent time management, protected driving practices, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing daily multi-drop deliveries and collections
Loading and unloading laundry products safely and efficiently
Conducting vehicle safety checks and maintaining delivery records
Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
Providing a qualified and friendly service to customers
Adhering to all road safety and company compliance requirements
What you’ll need to succeed
A current MR (Medium Rigid) Licence as a minimum requirement
A current Manual Driver's Licence
Previous experience in a delivery or multi-drop driving role
Strong knowledge of safe driving practices
Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling tasks
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A reliable and versatile approach to work
