About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist to manage reception and administration duties of our general practice clinic in Adelaide. This is a hands-on role where you will be the central point of contact for our patients in Adelaide and around Australia.

What You'll Be Doing
Ensuring a great experience for our patients when they first arrive
Booking appointments for patients and managing their queries
Performing MBS/DVA billing once trained




Assisting with our operations team to maintain accreditation

About You

You will bring a blend of reception experience and genuine like for working with people, especially the vulnerable.

Essential:
Demonstrated experience as a Practice Receptionist in a general practice or primary care setting
Some working knowledge of Medicare/DVA billing, MBS item numbers, and bulk billing processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build solid relationships with GPs, staff, patients, and external stakeholders
High level of organisational ability and the capacity to juggle competing priorities without losing attention to detail

Desirable:
Experience with practice management software
Previous experience working in a multi-GP or mixed billing setting
