Job Description
End-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
Maintain employee records and process new starters, transfers and terminations.
Review and resolve payroll discrepancies and complex payroll queries.
Interpret and apply awards, enterprise agreements, policies and payroll legislation.
Complete payroll reconciliations, payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation and deduction reporting.
Support year-end payroll activities and compliance requirements.
Contribute to payroll projects, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build solid relationships with internal stakeholders and provide high-quality payroll support.
Ad-hoc duties as required
The Successful Applicant
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing in Australia.
Strong understanding of payroll legislation, superannuation, PAYG and payroll tax.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
The ability to interpret enterprise agreements and employment conditions.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
Experience using systems such as Aurion, Micropay, ADP, Chris21, or Employment Hero highly regarded.
