Job Requirements For NETWORK ENGINEER L1Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and access pointsPerform onsite rack installation, cabling, and hardware replacement activitiesExecute configuration tasks using console access and remote management toolsTroubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis (Layer 1–3 issues)Coordinate with remote engineering teams (e.g., Systal engineers) during deployment and fault resolutionConduct hardware health checks and preventive maintenance activitiesEnsure compliance with site access, safety, and operational proceduresSupport migration, upgrade, and expansion projects for network infrastructureDocument all activities, configurations, and changes accurately in service management toolsStrong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)Hands‐on experience with enterprise network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or similar)Knowledge of console cable usage, CLI-based configuration, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with wireless access point (AP)
