A reputable private hospital on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist - Scrub/Scout (Ophthalmic) with 4+ years' experience in theatre and strong competency in VR (vitreoretinal) eye surgery.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high‐level perioperative support as a Scrub/Scout RN within ophthalmic surgery, including VR procedures.
Prepare and manage instruments, equipment and consumables while maintaining strict sterile technique.
Anticipate surgeon needs, ensure theatre efficiency and uphold safe surgical workflows.
Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists and the broader perioperative team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Maintain high clinical standards through accurate documentation and commitment to continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
Minimum 4 years' experience in Scrub/Scout, ideally within ophthalmic or VR surgery.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique, ophthalmic instrumentation and fast‐paced theatre flow.
Excellent communication, teamwork and a solid commitment to patient‐centred care.
