We're seeking a dedicated Essential Safety Measures (ESM) Auditor to join our growing team.At ESM Compliance, we work closely together to support one another and deliver high‐quality outcomes for our clients.If you're passionate about building safety and take pride in your work, we'd love to hear from you.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with 1–2 years of experience in Essential Safety Measures auditing or building compliance are preferred.Required Qualifications (or equivalent)Diploma of Building Surveying (minimum)Advanced Diploma of Building SurveyingAs an ESM Auditor, you will assess a wide range of building types—including warehouses, offices, retail spaces, schools, and large industrial facilities.Inspections will include:Annual Audits (AESMR)Exit Door and Paths of Travel inspectionsPassive Fire Rating Audits and ReportsYour responsibilities will include:Identifying non‐compliances with the BCA and relevant Australian StandardsPreparing clear, detailed audit reports using our asset management software, UptickLiaising with clients in a professional and supportive mannerProviding technical advice to assist clientsAs part of our team structure,
our bookings department schedules all of your allocated tasks more then a month in advance—allowing you to stay focused on delivering quality audits while still being part of a well‐coordinated team.Does this sound like you?
Tech‐savvy and eager to learn - Experience using Uptick advantageous Enthusiastic, self‐motivated, and reliable Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset Able to work both independently and within a team environment Solid understanding of the NCC, BCA, and relevant Australian Standards Hold a valid Victorian driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle Willing to obtain (or already hold) a Working With Children Check and Police Check Willing and able to travel across metro Melbourne and regional Victoria (including occasional overnight stays) - no interstate travel required.
