We're partnering with a global organisation that delivers creative chemical solutions, automated equipment, and technical services to some of Australia's leading healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and commercial operations.
Due to continued growth, an opportunity exists for a Technical Field & Service Representative to join their Victorian team.This is an autonomous, customer-facing role combining technical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, relationship management, and field service support across a diverse customer portfolio.The OpportunityAs the Technical Field & Service Representative, you'll be responsible for managing customer service requirements across your allocated territory, ensuring equipment performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.You'll spend your time visiting customer sites, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, conducting testing and inspections, managing inventories, and providing technical advice to customers.No two days are the same.
One day you may be troubleshooting equipment and resolving technical issues, while the next you could be conducting preventative maintenance, servicing customer accounts, or identifying opportunities for improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct scheduled service visits across customer sitesMaintain and troubleshoot automated dispensing and dosing equipmentDiagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issuesPerform system inspections, testing, calibration,
and preventative maintenanceMonitor equipment performance and recommend improvementsManage customer inventories and ordering requirementsComplete service reports and maintain accurate recordsBuild strong relationships with existing customersProvide technical support and training where requiredAssist with equipment installations and upgradesIdentify new opportunities within existing accountsWork closely with internal sales and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomesAbout YouWe're interested in speaking with candidates who enjoy working in the field and have strong technical troubleshooting skills.You may come from backgrounds such as:Field Service EngineeringIndustrial MaintenanceMechanical or Electrical TradesWater TreatmentChemical ProcessingFood & Beverage ManufacturingIndustrial Equipment MaintenanceAutomation & ControlsManufacturing OperationsTechnical Service & SupportSkills & ExperienceExperience servicing, maintaining, or troubleshooting industrial equipmentStrong mechanical and/or electrical aptitudeAbility to diagnose faults and implement solutionsExcellent customer service and communication skillsHighly organised with strong reporting and administration skillsComfortable working autonomously across a designated territoryStrong safety focus and attention to detailCompetent with Microsoft Office and mobile technologyValid Australian Driver's LicenceHighly RegardedExperience working with pumps, dosing systems, fluid handling equipment, valves, PLCs, controls, or automation systemsChemical, water treatment, hygiene, laundry, food processing, or manufacturing industry experienceTrade qualification or technical backgroundWhy Apply?
