They are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator or Assistant Project Manager or Site Engineer who will take on a role of Assistant Project Manager in the business.
It will be working on a mix of exciting new projects including new build apartment, townhouse, industrial as well as commercial projects in the Brisbane City Fringe.
Projects will be from smaller up to $20m+.
Project experience specifically related to residential, townhouses, apartments, industrial, retail and commercial etc.
Candidates can come from main contractor, client-side,
consultancy or developer.Candidates having experience in head contracting would suit their developer builder projects so people with a background as a contract administrator or site engineer on the head contractor side would be ideal.
They will also have the opportunity to learn the developer side.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Client management and consultationProject Planning/Feasibility studiesDesign ManagementProcurement of construction servicesDelivery of constructions servicesCost control and cost reporting and superintendentCommissioning and post contract duties for handoverQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similarExperience on residential/accommodation building projectsIdeally experience of end-to-end project management on building projectsStrategic thinker who is able to see the bigger pictureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrevious client-side project management experience is idealThis is a permanent full-time position providing a excellent opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work.
