About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Assistant Hospitality Manager to support the delivery of outstanding food, beverage, and hospitality experiences across our village.
Working closely with the Village Hospitality Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations across our restaurant, café, bar, and events, ensuring every service is seamless, welcoming, and resident-focused.
In this role, you will lead from the front - supporting service delivery during peak periods, coaching, and developing your team, and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
You'll be instrumental in creating memorable resident experiences, managing feedback and requests,



and delivering engaging hospitality events and promotions.

Role Responsibilities:
Support the Hospitality Manager in delivering smooth and efficient daily operations across all outlets
Drive team development, including coaching, onboarding, training and performance support
Oversee stock control, ordering and inventory processes to optimise costs and reduce waste
Contribute to achieving financial targets, including revenue, payroll and cost of goods
Assist in the development and maintenance of menus, pricing and POS systems
Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, ACT Health regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate operational administration and reporting requirements
Support cross-functional collaboration to deliver village events and organisational initiatives
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across hospitality operations
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Minimum 2-3 years' leadership experience within a high-volume hotel, restaurant or premium food & beverage operation.
Demonstrated experience leading operational teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Experience in rostering, inventory management, service delivery and financial performance.
Proven track record of developing teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.




Current Food Safety Handling certification or (willingness to obtain)
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
Strong knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, coffee and non-alcoholic beverage service.
Experience using hospitality Point of Sale systems, including menu and product management.
Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
