For people living with family violence, court security also makes the experience of attending court safer and less confronting.We are currently seeking professional, well-presented security personnel to work as Security Officers at the Victorian County Court in Melbourne CBD.
Duties in the role include:Providing friendly and efficient customer service to everyone who enters the facilityConducting X-ray screening to detect and remove prohibited items from enteringRoving security patrols inside and outside of the buildingConflict resolution and negotiationManaging access control systemsWriting detailed and accurate reportsMonitoring and responding within courtroomsWorking alongside Corrections Victoria and Victoria Police PSOs What we're looking for:A current Victorian Security LicenceMinimum of Certificate II in Security OperationsFirst Aid Accreditation and CPR Qualification (Desired - not essential, but willing to renew or complete)Available to complete a 4-week, fully paid, full time training program that is completed on the jobAble to work Monday-Friday in the Melbourne CBD About G4S Australia and New ZealandG4S, An Allied Universal Company, is a world-leading security and facility services company that delivers tailored, integrated solutions.
