Your responsibilities will include:Providing compassionate nursing care to patients, including hospitalised patient monitoring and recoveryAssisting veterinarians with consultations, surgical procedures, dental procedures, and patient carePreparing patients for procedures, diagnostics, and treatmentsAdministering medications, treatments, and preventative healthcare as directed by veterinariansPerforming in-house pathology, sample collection, and laboratory tasksMonitoring anaesthesia and assisting with surgical nursing dutiesMaintaining accurate patient records and treatment notesConducting nursing consultations and providing client education and supportCommunicating with clients regarding patient care, discharge instructions,



and follow-up requirementsMaintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection controlAssisting with stock management and ensuring the clinic environment remains organised and efficientSupporting the wider veterinary team and contributing to a positive clinic cultureThis role includes a 2 in 4 Saturday rotation, providing a balanced work-life schedule while supporting our clients and patients when they need us most.About youCertificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)Previous experience working as a veterinary nurse in a clinical environmentA genuine passion for animal welfare and delivering excellent patient careStrong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach with clients and colleaguesAbility to work confidently both independently and as part of a teamExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailA positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive workplaceSupportive and welcoming team environmentOpportunity to develop your nursing skills and grow professionallyDedicated vet nurse programs, face-to-face workshops and online training coursesA varied and rewarding caseloadA workplace that values quality care, teamwork, and a positive cultureStable full-time employment with a structured Saturday rosterIf you are looking for a rewarding veterinary nursing role where your skills and passion are valued, we would love to hear from you.
