What you will do:
Deliver nurse-led sexual health clinics by performing comprehensive history taking, risk assessment, clinical examination, and diagnosis.Provide testing, treatment, and management of sexually transmitted infections, including partner notification and follow-up care.Assess, prescribe,



and supply contraception under Patient Group Directions (PGDs) or as an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber.Perform insertion and removal of long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) including implants and intrauterine devices.Provide holistic sexual health advice, which includes pregnancy counselling, HIV prevention, and safeguarding interventions where required.
Person Specification:
You should be a Registered Nurse or Midwife with current NMC registration.Possess a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH) or equivalent.Having a STIF qualification is desirable but not essential.LARC accreditation or a willingness to undertake it is required.
